What Causes Swelling In Penis With Discoloration After Unprotected Sex?

Question: Hi Doctor about 24 hours ago I had unprotected vaginal intercourse with my girlfriend a couple hours later I noticed what appeared to be a small reddish bump like an ingrown hair on the base of my penis. I went to work and started having quite a bit of pain and discomfort when I looked at my penis it was swollen almost twice it's normal size as well as the area around the base of my penis. It is now almost 24 hours later and the swelling and discoloration of my penis has gotten worse and the pain hasn't receded. It is causing me pain and discomfort as well as anxiety.
Could I have an std or blood clot in my penis? I feel like to get the correct answer I should tell you I have been using methamphetamine for a week off and on. Could this regrettable drug use have anything to do with my problem? Should I go into an ER soon?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have swelling of the penis with discoloration after having unprotected sax with your girl friend .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Was it a woman on Top position while having sexual intercourse
2) Did you have pain during sex ?
3) Did you have blood in urine after sex?

Pain ,swelling and discoloration of penis can be mostly due to injury to Tunica Albugenia a sheath that covers erectile tissue .(what is called as Fracture of the penis ) and needs to be confirmed and treated immediately.

Please go to ER and consult qualified Urologist for clinical get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of penis and abdomen .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Yes it was a woman on top and pretty aggressive on top. I do remember possibly a brief moment of pain but I had to blood in urine after sex But my penis has gotten more swollen and dark reddish purple color as well as the base of my penis is turning very reddish purple in color and my entire groin area all the way up into my waistline isup very sensitive and painful as well as my genitals this isn't a great picture but I can tell you it's more than twice it's normal girth maybe three times and very dark reddish purple in color
