What Causes Swelling In Right Foot While Standing?
Mild vein draining problem. Conservative management.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
According to the report you have mils incompetence of the leg veins such is why some fluid is getting collected in the leg instead of getting cleared away.
Nothing to worry. It's still mild and no varicose veins have occurred yet. The fluid has collected in the leg because one of the veins in the thigh isn't draining the fluid away properly. This isn't a serious problem and can be treated conservatively.
You must not stress the veins much so please avoid standing for long hours. Every half an hour keep moving your ankles up and down to help clear away the fluid. Exercise regularly to keep fit and reduce chance of obesity. Keep the legs elevated over two pillows whole sleeping as this will help drain the fluid. You can use compression stockings to prevent swelling as well.
No need for any medication is survey now. Just regular walking exercise, limb elevation and compression stockings will help.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Further I have few questions :
• In future, Is there any chances of varicose veins ?
• Is it possible to remove the vein block ? (with minor surgery or any other treatment).
I forgot to mention one symptoms, Also feeling difficult to climb steps. I am not sure if both are related ?.
How do we overcome this issue (climbing steps) ?
Thanks a lot for your assistance.
Surgery not required now Vein stripping and tying off the incompetence done
Detailed Answer:
Please be more clear on your difficulty in walking. Is it due to weakness, pain, heaviness, numbness?
Surgery can be done if varicose veins develop in the future. The diseased veins are removed and the incompetent region is tied off.
As of now, surgery is not required. Just follow the precautions to avoid the development of varicose veins by not standing for long time, using compression stockings, keeping limb elevated and performing ankle exercises as mentioned.
