What Causes Swelling In The Eyelid Of A Child After A Fall?

My Son is 6.5 Months old as of now. Today Morning we found that his left Eye lid is little swelled (Picture Attached). He fall from bed (Around 2.5 Feet in height) 3.5 days back. We immediately went to his pediatrician and she mentioned everything looks good and we have to monitor him for 48 hours to see if he vomits or there are any issues moving his limbs. We didn't find any issue with that in those 48 hours so we are assuming he should not be having any issues from falling from bed.
However, little concerned with the swelling in the left Eye lid that came up today morning.
Please advice if this can be of any concern or could be because of some hygiene related issue. Also, Just wanted to mention that he is also getting a lot of teething few times in the day and also passing gas a few times, not sure if Eye Lid Swelling could be related to Teething.

Looks like a stye or viral conjunctivitis is stopping
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have seen the images and this looks like two possibilities -
1. Probably viral conjunctivitis is starting and you need not do anything for it except for cleaning with fresh clean water 4 or 6 times a day. If it is purulent or puss like eye discharge and stickiness of the eyelids, then I suggest using Ciprofloxacin eye drops.
2. The second possibility is Stye, which is also an infection of the eyelids, which is in the initial starting stages. Even for this, the treatment is the same and for both problems, you can use the same eyedrops.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks for the advice.
Just wanted to confirm if it will be fine if we just clean the eye with clean water for next couple of days before starting the eye drop or should we start the drops irrespective of puss like eye discharge and stickiness of the eyelids.
Asking so as I am out of city as of now and my wife would not be able to go to the medical shop to get the medicine as its too far from the location where we reside.
Thanks & Regards,
