Question: Hi, This is David I believe I have an abscess tooth and and my whole side of my face is swollen. I amat home right now do you have any preferences on how I can get my swelling down??

If you have an abscessed tooth then the best way to proceed towards treatment is to get an examination done by a Dentist and get an x ray of tooth done..
Treatment that is commonly done for abscessed tooth is either Root Canal treatment or extraction of the tooth depending on severity of decay..
In case if you are not able to consult a Dentist then at least consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..
You should start a course of antibiotics like Augmentin ( Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium) and anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and Serratiopeptidases..
Do cool compresses over the cheek.
