Question: My brother is having swelling in food pipe, he is taking endoscopy treatment every three week where they will bind the pipe ,two year back he got varicose vein problwm in right leg and after some time he detected with TB also, pleass let me know the treatement is fine and doctor also told because of endoscopy treatmwnt he might get liver problem in future

Hi,

From the history you have provided it looks that he is having stricture in esophagus for which endoscopic dilatation is being done. Usually this does not cause any liver problems.
If this is due to esophageal varices, then yes.

Is TB cured now? Please have regular review so that the disease is completely treated.
Were the lungs infected with TB or some other organ?
Also noted about varicose veins in right leg.

Please post/attach all the relevant documents, reports, treatment sheets for me to study further so that I can assist you better.
