What Causes Swelling In The Legs While On Lasix?

Question: my wife is 77 and up to 6 mos was playing tennis. Now has a-fib corrected by inversion, bronchioestasis with clear lungs nd no mucus expected, has interment swelling of legs, relieved with Lasix. Cardio states heart ok I
n various ways. Taking nacl breathing treatment 3 x/dat and 1 dilt xr 240 mg a day. Also pradaxa 250 2x/day.
She has unsteady walking and is extremely tired after short walk. What do you thnk?bp 107/80 and pulse 84

I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for cardiac etiology for her symptoms as her heart is ok.
Bronchiectesis can cause obstructive Airway defect. And this can cause Tiredness on exertion.
So better to get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will not only diagnose obstructive Airway defect, but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
She may need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol and tiotropium).
