What Causes Swelling In The Scrotum?

Male.26
I am moving my testicle up in a tense state and can see something on top of the testicle.
It was the same on both sides last night.
I think it may be the head of the epididymis.
It feels as though it is moving Ashwell but that might just be the skin moving freely.
Is the head of the epididymis found at the top of the testicle?
I am seeing my GP on Saturday regardless.
I can send in pictures if you wish
I can feel something harder on the left side but it's not a lump when I feel it.
As nothing appears attached to it.
I'm just hoping it's not normal anatomy and I am worried about anything.
There seems to be nothing much wrong

Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
I have seen the picture closely...there seems to be nothing wrong externally... and the description of symptoms you provided also told me that there is no serious problem in your case. Everything seems to be quite fine. If there is no pain you dont have to care a bit.
Epididymis is indeed attached to testicles and its normal anatomy it might feel swollen in case of engoregement due to prolonged arousal or due to long between ejaculations or in people who are not currently sexually active. There is nothing much to be worried .
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.

It may be infection I will send a few more pictures for you to observe
Yes they can move around.
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing...if you look it up on google images you can see that epididymis is a long tube and then it is connected with seminiferous tubules which are quite long so when you move around these structures it seemes like they are moving...actually epididymis is connected to testes at one point and its free otherwise to move around and its quite lengthy so doesnt creat pulling force while moving.
I am here to answer if you have more concerns.
regards
Dr.Ahmad

Please see attached 3 more images.
I'm not sure if I am explaining it right
When I push up my left testicle tightly towards my Penis
There seems to be a lump feeling on the top of the testicle is this just the epididymis head?
It feels like it's moving or if may be inflamed due to all this examination?
Is this a normal phenomenon for males? I've never seen it or examined it before sir
Yes this is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing back to HCM,
Yes it can get inflammed by repeated examination as its a very delicate structure. I have seen the pictures closely and i understand your concern fully.
Here is a link i am sending please look into it and you will realize on each lobe of testicle ..epididymis is attached and every body feals a lump or a structure on poles if a testis both top and bottom.. I hope this link helps you understand what this structure is.
Plus here i want ti add that its very felaxiable and movable testis can move easily with that. And it can slide easily on testis.
