After doing sonography I was detected with infection
what should i do ?
Brief Answer:
Orchitis or epididymo-orchitis should be the diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your concern.
It's presumed you did a scrotal doppler ultrasound scan.
If that was suggestive of infection,it means epididymo-orchitis or orchitis.
After check-up with an Urologist, the treatment includes :
1. a course of antibiotics, after doing urine routine and culture and blood tests.
2. anti-inflammatory drugs,depending on severity.
3. scrotal support, till the infection subsides.
4. repeat the scan,after a week. Earlier,if there's increased pain or swelling.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
