What Causes Swelling In The Shoulder And Neck?
Question: I have swollen areas on both sides of my shoulder/neck just above the collar bone. These have been swollen for a long time. I am regrettably overweight and assumed it was just fat. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The swollen areas that you have mentioned are likely to be due to excessive fat. If there is no pain and there are no palpable lumps in the swelling hen there is no need to worry. You can confirm this by getting it examined by a physician.
I hope this answers your query.
