Question: I had a hemorrhoidectomy six weeks ago. It is amazingly painful to pass stools (review next week). First time inserting into vagina after op, feels like it puts pressure on the back passage and for three days now have persistent sexual arousal. I had a hysterectomy six years ago - is it possible I have a pelvic organ prolapse? After a BM or sex (orgasm), there is a bulge on the right-hand side of my vagina and a heaviness feeling. The persistent arousal will not go away but it feels like it is from both passages.

I am sorry about the painful conditions that you are undergoing now.
Although there is a chance of prolapse in your case anything could be said after careful examination of the rectum and vaginal walls.
The sexual arousals are instinct and can be experienced because of frictional disturbance from the neighboring structure.
I suggest warm water sitz baths with Povidone Iodine lotion in the warm water tray. The more you do the lesser you experience the pain. Sometimes cool water baths can reduce the arousals that you currently have.
