What Causes Swelling Over Leg And Abdominal Bloating?

Question: Within the last year I have experienced a 42 pound weight increase and 12" expansion of my stomach. My stomach/abdomen is severely bloated and I have this full, satiated pressure feeling that makes me not want to eat . I am 69 years old, a white male. I have never changed or varied my diet and eating habits or changed my exercise/activity level so I don't know why or how I had this dramatic, sudden weight gain and horrific bloating of my distended stomach?? I also have pain in my upper arms and shoulders and just recently pain in my right hip and leg. My right leg and foot are slightly swollen also. Before this all started I had had pain in my penis, which was never diagnosed, but that was never diagnosed and went away on its own. My thyroid and pituitary both check out okay (blood tests and lab results are all within normal ranges). A cystoscopy, colonoscopy, CT Scan with contrast and PSA test could find nothing abnormal to account for my symptoms.

Hello
I have studied your case.
There is probably involvement of liver , leading to abdominal distension and edema leading to weight gain.
Swelling over leg can be due to liver disease.
I will advise you to get liver function test done.
Another possibility of hormonal imbalance leading to weight gain.
You may need to check remaining hormone consulting your doctor.
For pain on penis you may need local examination.
I consider your blood sugar levels are normal.
If all test comes normal diet change s may be required to reduce weight.
