What Causes Swelling Under Right Armpit?

default
Posted on Thu, 9 Oct 2014
Question: Hi,
Recently, I had noticed a swelling under my right armpit which is not painful. I can only observe it when I raise my hand up. Immediately I consulted my doctor. He inspected it and wrote it as auxiliary adentis and asked me to take zerodol, mahacef and pantocid for 5 days. He thinks this as swelling of glands. Just wanted to know bit more.

Brief Answer:
Axillary lymph node swelling

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You seem to have developed an axillary lymph node swelling. Such a swelling can occur whenever our body tries to contain any infection. So such swellings are mostly not bothersome and can be easily controlled with some anti inflammatory agent and sometimes with short courses of antibiotics.
So I would advise you to take the medicines as advised by your doctor. I am sure thud will take care of the lymph node swelling.
