Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Based on the history that you described and the images that you uploaded, here are the possible conclusions.
There are many causes leading to swollen legs most common of which is injury to feet, ankle sprain or dislocation. Since there was no history of trauma so that is unlikely.
Cellulitis which is bacterial infection of skin can lead to red swollen painful foot. Venous insufficiency , Phlebitis, thrombophlebitis are also known causes that lead to such a presentation.
Insect bites and stings as well as
Allergic reactions/ contact dermatitis are some of the most commonly reported causes. In your case they are the most likely, too.
Chronic kidney conditions, congestive heart failure, chronic liver disease can present similarly.
Primary Lymphedema may be the cause which is hereditary and can present like this. My advice would be to apply calamine lotion locally and take an antihistamine such as hydroxyzine or levocetirizine for now. If the swelling persists then
Work up should be done to exclude all these causes and possibilities which I described.
You can discuss these options with your doctor.
