You seem to have developed an allergic reaction called angioedema.
It can present with swelling of lips and the area around eyes including the eyelids. Alsi there can be itching over body with development of hives .
Such an sllergyc reaction can occur on eating any such food stuff to which our body is allergic or after intake of any drugs. Hope you did not take any medicines before the swelling episode .
So you need to immediately start intake of some oral antihistamine like Benadryl in the adult dosage which is three to four times a day . Take it for at least three days.
In case ,at any time you feel that the swelling or itching is increasing or you develop any breathing difficulty , then you will have to see your local doctor soon.

Also it can occur due to application of hair XXXXXXX ,hair oil ,any new creams or face packs or after using any new face washes or soaps .
So yes ,there is a possibility that it could have occurred due to the new product that you recently started using .
