
What Causes Swollen Feet When Diagnosed With Atherosclerosis?

Question: my husband's feet and ankles are mildly swollen. the swelling is best characterized as pitted. he has mild SOB but also suffers from anxiety. he has been dx with atherosclerosis. would this dx cause high BP as well as swelling?

his BP is excellent right now 117/74. heart rate 74 but he feet are swollen. should we go to emergency room. he is having some SOB but his anxiety is high also.
