What Causes Swollen Glands In The Neck And Groin Area?
Question: Swollen glands neck and groin, blood tests came back negative
Brief Answer:
Most of them are not indicative of a disease!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these swollen glands and all the inconveniences this has caused you. Unless these glands are so swollen that they are visible from a distance, they are benign. Most swollen glands are in response to infections of the mouth, throat, nose, etc and the skin around the head and neck region. They simply show that the immune system is active and fights against invading germs or aggressive conditions.
In all, no need to worry. Small swelling are normal and are a response to infections in the head and neck region.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
