What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes And Palpitations In A Child?

Question: My daughter, who is 18, has had many bouts of flu like symptoms but it never amounts to much. What concerns me is it happens often, almost intermittent. She is a former athlete, so should be strong and healthy. She has also had symptoms like tingling and numbness, swollen lymph nodes, heart palpitations. I usually dismiss a lot of her somatic complaints because she also has an anxiety disorder. but I'm concerned im missing something medically?
Brief Answer:
This is okay and probably allergy related!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear bout her multiple flu episodes. This is probably related to allergy and not a weak immune system. As long as they amount to nothing much, stay calm and not to concerned. She may also want to match her symptoms with seasons/food/products etc to identify possible triggers in the community.
Keep me updated with her progress. I wish you both well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
