Question: Chew tobacco user woke up with swollen upper lip. No pain, but swelling increased during the day. Remedy?

You need to take antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM
It may or may not be caused by tobacco,but in every case it sounds like allergy reaction. SO you should take some standard nonsteroid painkiller such as ibuprofen or tyenol. ALso you should take antihistaminic such as benadryl or claritine.
Also,put some cold water on lips.
If there is no improvement, you should see doctor.
