What Causes Symptoms Of Flu After Tooth Extraction?
Question: Hi, since I had my left 6 molar out about 3 weeks ago I have had flu like symptoms continuously. I started on metronidazole just before the extraction and changed to amoxicillin ten days later when a different dentist cleaned the socket and packed it with antiseptic. I feel so I'll, what can I do?

As far as the flu like symptoms are concerned, it occurs usually after extraction of the teeth for one or two days not for weeks. It does not look like of tooth extraction relted. So consult a general physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination for 5 days (if you are not allergic.
