Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. No, it would not be related.
2. If you had any pain due to blood being drawn, it would have been during the first day and any bleeding would have stopped within a few minutes.
3. Unless you can see a infection or dark areas in the area, this would not be related.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

I've attached a photo of the area that is very tender (the blue dots ate where it hurts to the touch). when I straighten my arm I feel a tugging pain at the inside of my elbow as if the connecting tissue is too tight. could this be a blood clot or something that I need to seek immediate attention for?
Brief Answer:
Sore biceps tendon. Not blood clot.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.
This does not appear to be a issue of blood clot.
I can think of two possibilities:
1. While drawing blood, they might have pricked the tendon (biceps tendon) which would take longer to heal and would be painful in those areas. However, the pain would be there from day one.
2. You might have had a workout using weights or pulls enough to strain the tendon recently in last two to three days. Any excessive activity, flexing activity even books or anything else could have caused the area to go sore and to mild spasm, which can explain the feeling of connective tissue being too tight.
You can take a painkiller with muscle relaxant and it should help. Additionally rest, restricted movement and local painkillers will reduce pain.
There is no blood clot superficially and even if formed internally, it would not cause you symptoms like these. It would be only change in color and asymptomatic.
Take rest and follow other things. Lifting something, not used to, mostly with this hand is possible for this sore feeling.
Hope it helps.
