
What Causes Terrible Pain In Head In A Diabetic Neuropathic Patient?

Question: My mother is 87 years old has diabetic neuropathy 3 years now has been on medicine but has been decling complaining hard time of breathing can hardly walkl, losing blatter and bowel control recently complaining of terrible pain in her head fever loss of appetite stiff neck boky ackes and pains persistant pain on her left side. I took her to her Dr one week ago he wasn't with her 5 min and said he would see her in 3 months and that was it. I tried doing some research on my own I feel like her body might be shuting down if so I would like to get her Dr to help her be comfortable but for some reason he wont see me without her with me even though I have power of attorney. Since your mother is complaining of terrible pain in her head I would suggest u do MRI of brain.
Also as she is having fever blood and urine culture tests are suggested to find the cause of fever.
CT scan of chest ,Bone Scan and whole abdomen with contrast is suggested for shortness of breath ,pain on her left side and losing of bladder control.
For pain and fever she can take paracetamol tablets twice daily.
