3)If episodic, how long does each episode lasts?
4)Is it unilateral(on one side of head) or bilateral(both sides)?
5)Is it associated with vision abnormalities, nausea or vomiting?
6)Does it increase on exposure to light or sound?

Thank you for responding to my concern.
Actually I have been having this severe headache from past 2 weeks. Its not continuous, it comes often specially while working in office, when i am stressed.
It is bilateral, it pains near my forehead n eyebrow. It will last for 2-3 days & will come back again. I do feel nausea sometimes when i am not able to eat on time.
And yes, it increases on both exposure to light and sound specially to light. I guess it does help when i sleep.
I once fainted when i cut my finger while cutting vegetables so many years back.

Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
In view of your detailed clinical history,I would like to make a probable diagnosis of Migraine.Points in favour of Migraine are-

2)Photophobia and phonophobia(Headache increases on exposure to light and sound respectively)
3)Improvement with sleep
Besides, some element of Stress headache may be overlapping as well.
Management plan-
1)Mental relaxation exercises/Yoga/Meditation-on regular basis
2)Tab.Amitriptyline 12.5 mg at bedtime for 2 days, followed by 25 mg at bedtime daily.
3)Tab.Naproxen 250 mg sos(at the time of severe pain).
