Question : I have a mild dull pain in my lower right abdomen and also a pulsing (like blood flow) in the same area. Is this something to be concerned about as it has been going on about a week.

Hi,

The pulsatile nature of the feeling along with a dull ache in the right lower abdomen going on for about a week is surely a concern unless proved otherwise.

Pulsatile nature means increased blood flow to that particular is.

Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Clinical evaluation and an actual examination, preferably by a General Surgeon.

Ultrasonography with color doppler examination followed by CT scan or as would be advised.

Tests of blood, urine and stool.

All these will give the exact diagnosis which is very important for a plan of proper management to get a possible cure.
