- Occult blood in stools is due to bleeding from lower intestinal tract & pus cells indicate inflammation or infection.
- Presence of occult blood & pus cells in stool though without any symptoms & not in great number...
can be due to-
- Severe constipation causing local trauma to rectum or anus.
- Anal fissure or hemorrhoids (in early stage).
- Polyp in colon or rectum.
- Some asymptomatic intestinal infection.
- Benign or malignant growths.

Even if the findings are very less in number & you don't have any symptoms, I would suggest keen observation for symptoms (digestive upsets, loss of weight visible blood in stools) & repeat stool examinations every month till you get three results normal.

Try to change a digestion-friendly lifestyle in the form of a balanced diet with sufficient fibers & water content at regular eating habits, regular exercises.

Consult a Gastroenterologist in case of increasing or persistent same readings to exclude any of the problem mentioned above.

In my view blood cells should not be neglected in stools... because they do suggest some breakage in intestinal tract... may it be minor or major. The counts you have is not very significant in a single reading, that's why I suggest a careful watch out with a positive attitude, by repeated stool examinations & needful expert guidance.
