Brief Answer:
The Orange bits could be due to various reasons...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The tiny orange colored bits in the phlegm could be due to any of the following conditions:
1. The food particles stuck in the tonsillar crypts
2. The blood due to rupture of the small capillaries while coughing
3. The dead layer of the mucosa
4. The regurgitated food material from the stomach into the throat

Do not worry! It's perfectly normal.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water, these particles will get reduced.
2. Avoid smoking/chilled food & beverages/coffee
I hope with the above measures you will definitely feel better.

Revert back to me if you have any further queries.
