What Causes The Urgency To Urinate After Brachytherapy?
Question: I'm having a bout with urinary urgency. I HAD A SEED IMPLANT FOR PROSTATE CANCER IN 2003 AND HAVE doing WELL.I recently been taking rapaflo for six days with no relief. What is the next step ?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have cancer of the Prostate and Radiation seeds have been implanted in your urethra (Brachytherapy) in 2003 and now getting urgency for urination.
Frequency and urgency for urination is a known side effect of Brachytherapy and is due to irritation of urethra and bladder .
Take Darifenacin once daily as and when necessary when you get bout of these symptoms.
