What Causes Thinning Of Penile Skin?
Question: In the past few months the skin of my penis has become thinner so that even with a lot of lubricant I get stretch tears on the skin from masterbating or sex. My GP and Derms couldn't see anything. the first derm put me on a topical antifungal and later a pill anti fungal. I then washed my penis with bleach. the probem is still there. the latest derm saw nothing and suggested I dont' clean myself well. I am circumcised and stay very clean. The best plan here is abstinence for a while. Apply topical antifungal as prescribed and add hydrocortisone ointments to it. Hypoallergenic hygiene gels should be used to wash the genitals. Never use bleach. It itself causes suck complains and even burns.
Keep the groin hair free and wear loose undergarments and avoid sweating to the area.
