What Causes Throbbing Pain In Right Eye 7 Months Post Cataract Surgery?

Question: Throbbing pain in right eye. Had cataract surgery 7 months ago. Had that pain after surgery but it went away. Now it's back. I am a woman, 74 years old. Other eye gives me no problem. Seems to be associated with low pressure system and sinus pressure. Is that possible?
Brief Answer:
check your intraocular pressure, it might be due to increased intraocular pressure
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query.
Is there any discharge, watering from the eye, is there any redness or any sign of infection.
I would suggest you to see opthalmologist to check the intraocular pressure. The symptom may be due due to increased intraocular pressure, but it need to be confirmed.
You can use eye drops containing diclofenac sodium to address the pain which you are experiencing. Apart from these avoid dust and sun light or bright light for few days.
Hope these helps.
Take care.
