What Causes Tightness In Calf And Limbs At Night?

Question: I have had tight calf and forearm muscles in both arms and legs since last Oct. They will suddenly clear up for 2-4 weeks but then begin again. I have been tested for lupus, RA, Lyme, thyroid (function is good) however I did test positive for thyroid antibodies. Nerve conduction test showed no nerve damage. All the above tests were negative. Any thoughts? It tends to be worse at night.
Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
i have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Tightness of limbs especially calfs and mostly in night may be due to restless leg syndrome.
This is associated with feeling to move limbs while going to bed.
If all these reports are normal, then you should get iron profile testing with homeroom.
For treatment take Pramipex 0.125 mg initially in night and can be increased if required.
Visit a neurologist for examination and assessment and prescription of drugs.
hope you found the answer helpful.
