What Causes Tingling And Burning Feeling Throughout The Body?

Question: I had nerve sensations and pain all through my body this past winter legs, top of feet, arms mainly upper arms and legs, now it's down to hot spots and burning sensation in my hips, and upper rear thighs. Also hot spots and burning sensations in upper back, there is no other pain in my back and back wasn't the problem this winter. These feelings come and go feelings went away completely for 3 weeks and now the problem with the afore mentioned areas are back. Doctors want to send me for a nerve test, but I keep telling them I have some kind of deficiency, because the sensations feel better when I get in the sunshine. They have me on 100,000 iud's of vitamin d a week, but my vitamin d still does not go above 30, could this still be the problem?
