many causes
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
There are many causes of such sensations. So please let me know if you have any other medical conditions like high blood pressure, etc. Also let me know if you are taking any medicine.
Niacin, a type of vitamin B can cause flushing. So can thyroid disorder, allergies, alcohol, decongestants, caffeine or even stress.
If this is the first time that it has happened then drink plenty of water and possibly take an antihistamine. Avoid caffeine alcohol, tobacco and decongestants.
If you have fever or feel that you are having heart palpitations then see a doctor today. It may be something related to your blood vessels.
Most likely this is an acute temporary reaction that will resolve on its own. If the symptoms resolve then make an appointment to see your doctor for an exam and some blood tests to make sure that everything is okay. If not or if symptoms worsen see a doctor as soon as possible.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
