What Causes Tingling And Numbness In Ankles And Calves?

Question: Hi. For the past few weeks, I have felt tingling and numbness in my ankles and calves. For the most part it was concentrated in my left leg but in the last two days I have also begun to feel it in my right leg. I find that it only flares up when I am home for the day and it's gone by morning.

The complaints you are having may be indicative of peripheral neuropathy.It can result from any of the following,commonly-
1)Diabetes
2)Vitamins deficiency
3)Chronic alcohol intake
4)Some medicines
5)Lastly but commonly,Anxiety can also cause this.

For now,I suggest you to please get yourself examined by a neurologist.You may need Nerve conduction studies to approach the diagnosis.
