What Causes Tingling Sensation In Lower Legs?

Parasthesia
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Numbness or tingling of the legs is usually due to conditions that affect the nerves and/or blood vessels that supply the lower limbs. They are referred to as paresthesia which can be an occasional phenomenon related to altered blood flow due to cold , change in posture, prolong standing , sitting or anxiety which may resolve on its own. If it persists then other causes need to be assessed as a number of conditions can present as such. B 12 , calcium and thyroid deficiencies can cause such parasthesias. Diabetic neuropathy and Multiple sclerosis can also have a similar symptom set. Alcoholism, muscular strain and electrolyte imbalance other than calcium including sodium and potassium can also be the cause. Your G.P can prescribe B1,6, 12 and calcium/vitamin D supplementation if your levels are low and there is typical presentation. A neurologist opinion should be sought if that is not the case.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
