What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Tongue?

Question: I feel like a have a hair on the left side of my bottom lip. It tingles a little on and off as well. If I smile big it also tingles in that same spot and if I push my tongue against the inside bottom lip I get a tingling.

Could be due to herpes.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the image. It is possible that you have herpes labialis although there is no fulminant inflammation or infection. You could have acquired it at any point of life. You need not worry about it. Nothing needs to be done about it. Application of emollients like aloe vera lotion should help.
