What Causes Tingling Sensation Throughout The Body And Abdominal Discomfort?
Question: having tingly feeling in my body,with upset tummy(queasy). also not sleeping well and gassy with some loose stools. went to Dr. because blood pressure was in the !80-190/80-90 range. normally i am in130-140/60-70. Have heart disease in parents, but only on bp meds for awhile 3 to 6 yrs ago. the feeling comes and goes, but woke me up last night. could it be nerves or a virus? i was sick 2 weeks ago with a ?sinus- head congestion. still have post nasal drip. a lot of info hope you can help.

You have tingly feeling in body in night, with loose motions & upset digestion , blood pressure being raised a bit at present& is under treatment. ...RA being treated with Plaquenil .
* There are many other causes for the tingly feeling like poor circulation,peripheral neuropathy ( like diabetic neuropathy ), Post viral- I feel you have B complex deficiency / anxiety as a causative factor.
- Loose motions , blotting cause lack of digestion leading to disturbance of normal intestinal flora( Lactobacilli which synthesize B complex in our body) - Thus causing your symptom.
- The loose motion might be post viral / Bacterial infection/ as a side effect of Planiquil .
* So I would advise for few investigations( stool examination/ culture, serum B 12 levels,Diabetic profile)- to know exact cause & get specific needful treatment along with Lactobacillus supplement/ fluid replacement & change in dosage of Planoquil or change in medication for RA- for it with consultation of your doctor.
Self care-
- Use ORS with boiled water/ drink sufficient water& liquid like buttermilk.
- Eat light to digest diet in divided small servings
- Take rest, avoid stress. Use meditation to relieve tension.
- Get your heart check up done to relieve fear & tension of family heart problem. Take regular medication of Blood pressure & RA as advised by expert.& adopt healthy life style to prevent it.
- As for post viral symptom- it will resolve over the time with improvement in digestion/ getting back to normal eating & supplement of Probiotic ( Lactobacilli) / B12 .
