What Causes Tingling Sensation While Urinating?

Question: A psa score of 6 at age 49 and I'm black.... I'm having some intermittent moderate discomfort like burning after I urinate and occasional mild testicular tingling sensations. However whenever I ejaculate it seems to relieve the symptoms. My urine stream is good and my last UA came back negative for a UTI. Does this mean I have prostate cancer? I'm scared to death ... I haven't re took my psa since the original one 5 weeks ago

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
A rise in PSA always makes a person jittery but frankly speaking there are many other conditions which can cause rise in PSA like acute prostatitis,BPH etc.
A single reading of PSA should never be relied upon because even ejaculation can cause rise in PSA levels.
What to do....
Get the PSA checked after a gap of 4-6 weeks.
Don't ejaculate for at least 72 hours before the test.
Urine culture
PRE and POST prostatic massage fluid test
Urethral swab
Ultrasound abdomen ( KUB )
My personal opinion regarding your problem is that your high PSA is because of prostatitis and not due to prostate cancer,however it should be properly investigated by a specialist doctor.
Best would be to consult a UROLOGIST and get it diagnosed.
Remain relaxed as chances of prostate cancer are as good as nil.

Thank you, im currently seeing a urologist. Its just been frustrating because i want immediate answers and have to wait several weeks in between follow up appointments with the same symptoms

Another question regarding PSA scores or test. Can a fleet enema or cleaning you rectum with a rectal syringe with warm water increase your PSA score since that is the area near your prostate?
