What Causes Tiny Bumps Around A Cut On Penis?

Question: Tiny bumps appeared around a cut on my penis i got three days. Could it be herpes?

Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the photograph and facts that you have posted it appears that you have tiny vesicles filled with clear fluid on foreskin. I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem. 1) Did you have itching of the foreskin? 2) Do you have any urinary symptoms ? 3) Did you have unprotected sex very recently? The bumps that you have resemble typical of vesicles due to Herpes 2 infection . Please consult qualified dermatologist for clinical examination and get swab test of a fluid from the vesicle done to confirm the diagnosis. In the mean while start taking Tab Acyclovir twice daily. 1) I did not have any itching on my foreskin. 2)I did not have any urinary symptoms 3) I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago, this was before i got the cut.

In view of you having unprotected sex and vesicles on foreskin possibility of getting HSV 2 infection can not be ruled out .
