What Causes Tiredness And Drowsiness?
Question: I have been feeling tired this pass few days. I even slept within 6-8 hours, took naps in the middle of the days, and i once slept for 12 hours. Lastly everytime i've been waking up, u always get sturttled. Please help...

The most common reason for tiredness is thyroid dysfunction, please get your thyroid profile checked as soon as possible. The other common causes are
1. Vitmain b 12 and Vit D deficiency
2. Obesity
3. Anemia ( low hemoglobin)
4. Stress
5. Diabetes
I recommend that you get a routine blood test which includes the above after getting examined by your GP

Thanks doc, but i recently went to get my testosterone level check and got a blood draw, and my doctor did mot find anything suspicious... Sould i go ask for a thyroid test dorectly?
