What Causes Tiredness And Fatigue After Working Out?
I have been working out in Gym with a qualifies trainer since around an year 3 days a week. Was able to loose 5 kgs of weight and have well toned muscles. I used to feel fresh and energetic after the workout. In April, May and XXXXXXX I was travelling abroad and hence not been very regular with the workouts. After my return when i picked this up again, i felt loss of Stamina which i regained in 2 weeks. But Since past 2 weeks everytime I workout I feel tired and fatigued instead of feeling fresh.
Can you please suggest if i should undergo any medical tests, if yes, which ones.
Thanks

Breaks in continuity of workouts can cause you to feel tired soon.
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
I respect the fact that you are very health conscious and are working out. You mention a lack of continuity in the gymnasium activities. It is natural for your body to have to re-adapt to the workout routine. If the fatigue was present in absence of hard physical endeavour, then you might need to be investigated. It is common for people to have very high expectations of themselves when working out. This is a social phenomena. Regularity enables your body to transform itself gradually and get habituated with higher load workouts.
I feel that the break that you might have taken has contributed to this current problem. This is a sports medicine fact.
Kindly answer a few questions, so that we may come to a definite conclusion:
1. Are you taking any medications? Or have you taken any medications in the past?
2. I acknowledge the fact that you have mentioned PCOD, can I kindly ask if you happen to be having any other illness?
Take care,

Thanks for the fast reply and I agree that my initial apprehension was that of irregularity of break in workout. Although, the reason I am little alarmed is that after the break ,I recovered the got adapted and then it relapsed only since last 2-3 sessions.
As far as your questions are there.
1. No, I am not on any medication and have never taken regular medication except for some homeopathy treatment for PCOD.
2. Apart from PCOD which also I dont have since 5 years I have no other illness.
Thanks

Check your exercise techniques. Try a course of antioxidants.
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
Thanks for the information that you have provided. It just seems that improving the technique of the exercise, or changing the exercises themselves are the key factor here. We know that any exercise performed right upto an individuals coping capacity, will fatigue almost any person. Zeroing on the fact that your fatigue is neither due to any other reason, it may be time to examine your exercise techniques and improve upon them.
This is the most practical and best approach.
I would suggest trying antioxidant capsules as a course of a month.
They can help in controlling fatigue too.
