What Causes Tiredness And Heartburn After Unwanted 72 Pill?
Unwanted 72 to be taken after unprotected sex only
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
The acidity, heartburn and feeling tired are more related to exhaustion or anxiety. Pregnancy does not cause symptoms in 3 days time.
Emergency contraceptive pills like unwanted 72 only protect against pregnancy when you take them after sex. That means you can still get pregnant if you take unwanted 72 and then have sex again without using another kind of contraception. Chances of pregnancy are as in a sexual intercourse without taking the pills.
If you still don’t want to get pregnant, you will need to take precautions like condoms.
Please wait for your periods and if it does not happen then get home pregnancy test done at least 15 days after second sexual intercourse.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

You might get lucky if you dont get a pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
I am not saying that Unwanted 72 will not work at all but saying that the chances of protection becoacme slightly less when taken the way mentioned by you. There is research saying that taking pills work best when taken within 3 hours of sex. After that the protection decreases slightly with time. But since you had sex again after 24 hours, the efficacy of pill is not 100 percent. You might get lucky if you dont get a pregnancy.
Also the pills contain a high dose of hormones. When you take the pill after unprotected sex, the high level of hormones reaches a peak and prevents the pregnancy from occurring. If you have sex after taking Unwanted 72 then then the level of hormones is already past its peak concentration and its efficacy decreases.
Besides you have also written that you had sex in fertile days, this further decreases the efficiency by a bit if you had unsafe sex and then the pill followed again by unprotected sex.
Hope your query is answered.
