
What Causes Tiredness And Pain In The Calf And Thigh Muscles?

This is XXXX XXXXXXX I am pretty active for last 11-12 years. My weight is 74kg and height is 180 cms. I do long distance running ( 10k/half/full-marathon), long distance cycling, swimming etc.
My usual workout is running 10K or cycling 30-40K and I add swimming/yoga on few days . I rest for a day in a week.
But for last 3-4 months I am not feeling fresh even after 6-7 hours sleep, feeling tired whole day after my usual workout, especially in my calfs and thighs muscle.
I had undergone full body checkup, attached is my report. Would like to know what shall I do?

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
I am glad to know about your healthy lifestyle. In fact your reports are also very good and don't need any special consideration. However, you have Vitamin D deficiency that might be causing you these symptoms of tiredness and pain in calf and muscles can be due to Vitamin D deficiency.
So, i would recommend you to go for Vitamin D supplementation. You should take
Vitamin D 60 k Sachet/tablet once a week for at least 3 months initially and get your Vitamin D levels repeated again.
You need to write to me again with improvement in symptoms and the report after 3 months to decide further course of action.
