What Causes Tonsils Infection?
Pus on tonsil may not be due to Panmasala
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
It is very difficult to say that panmasala caused pus on tonsils
IT is possible that you already had an infection and taking panmasala was incidental . And this aggravated the Tonsilitis.
It is always better to send the investigation before starting the treatment to get the right results.
You need an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines. For this you have to visit a local Doctor / ENT specialist preferably.
He would check you for ENT check-up and also see if there is damage to other structures nearby like the lymph nodes, throat, ears and so on.
You need to visit ALSO FOR GETTING AA PRESCRIPTION - as these are prescription medicines and the Store will give you medicines only after they are ordered on a letterhead. So please visit.
Also try to take plenty of water orally and soft / liquid diet. Take a bed-rest. This helps early recovery.
The advised investigations at your age are; Complete blood picture (CBP) as we call- to see the WBS count and a swab from the tonsil for a test called gram staining , culture and sensitivity. This will help in the later part of ilness if needed.
Your Doctor will start Medicines immediately, which you have to take for 1 to 3 weeks.
This is NOT cancer
Detailed Answer:
As you are only 22 years old , this is definitely not a cancer.
So stop worrying. Do not check again for 5 days on your own, until you complete a 5 days course of medicines as prescribed by your Doctor.
Not a side effect/ spot will go away.
Detailed Answer:
HI,boss. NO one gets cancer at such an early age..
Is there any benefit in getting afraid of?
This small spot can be a collection of a pus follicle or a dry inspissated pus or a secretion coming out of the crypt / opening out of the tonsil and may not need to bother.
Visit ENT tomorrow - because an additional examination can help you to become free of the tensions you have now.
Do not try any home remedy; in fact there is none.
It can not be a side effect of the medicines you are taking. Please continue the medicines you are already taking.
Yes the spot will go away after you start taking appropriate medicines, for sure.
Please stop searching anything on the internet.
You can post a good quality photograph on this site attached to this question for me to see.
