Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in with an update.
From the images, there is a very faint opacity on the right side and it does not look like a tumor presently. There is also increased mineralization on left side upper end of tibia termed sclerosis.
Rarely the above patterns can appear in tibia due to cancer of the prostate. This is extremely rare with an incidence of 1 to 2 percent.
I have the following suggestions for you
1. Your doctor has advised PSA to be certain that you do not have prostate cancer and it is a simple blood test. You can get it done for peace of mind.
2. If you have any lower back pain then you must discuss with your doctor and get a X ray of lower back (lumbar spine) and also get an ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis done.
3. If you have pain in the faint area on X ray (right side) then you can go for higher imaging investigation like CT scan.
4. If there is no pain then you can repeat the knee X ray after 3 to 6 months and confirm that it is not something to do with tumor.
Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Request CT scan please
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in with an update.
I have done research on malignant bone tumors myself. Your X ray does not look like a malignant bone tumor which we usually come across.
Though it looks most likely non malignant, it is difficult to confirm benign vs malignant with a single X ray and there are reasons for it. The lesion is very small in size and the pattern of bone change is not well visualized. The edges of the bony abnormality do not give a clear cut picture. There may be a soft tissue problem in the muscles which is going to the bone and I have seen all types of involvement. Sometimes a lesion can take 3 to 6 months to give a clear picture of its nature.
May I request you to please upload your CT images. If you have a DVD, you may upload contents to dropbox and send me your download link.
Hope your query is answered.

Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in with an update.
I went through the MRI report and find that there is early degenerative changes seen in the right knee joint, the space where the bones meet.
It is clearly mentioned in the report that the bones are normal as seen. I assume your doctor has seen the concerned area in images and then confirmed the findings.
Hope your query is answered.
