What Causes Tremors Despite Having Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

default
Posted on Thu, 20 Nov 2014
Question: Good morning

I'm 52 and female. I've noticed that twice this past two weeks I've awoken with a shaky sensation. I do suffer from panic/anxiety. I noticed that when I drink alcohol/coffee with my meal it tends to aggravate the situation. These are rather new observations for me and are disturbing.

Brief Answer:
Avoid neural stimulants

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Looking at the query, my opinion is as follows:

1. It appears you are going through a stressful period.
2. Excessive neural networks activity is causing this.
3. Coffee contains caffeine, a neural stimulant, and this will increase further activity. Alcohol in small doses acts as a neural stimulant.
4. You need to avoid any neural stimulants including energy drinks. Sleep well for at least 8-9 hours in night. Avoid stress.
5. Despite above, if disturbance continues, you might require counseling. Sleep regularly and adequately.

Avoid all neuro stimulants.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
