Thank you for your response.
I did receive a colorblindness test and past. But I mentioned to my ophthalmologist that I have trouble seeing gray, or browns especially when I am outside on a cloudy day. Or moving between a shaded area into a light area. She mentioned that she has heard this from patients that have had have problems with their retinas, as I do due to complications from a surgery (was not eye surgery). She also mentioned that my eyes are adjusting slower than normal when moving from shaded to lighted areas. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I do not see as well during the day as night. My ophthalmologist suggested getting very dark tinted glasses, which could help with this problem.
My ophthalmologist has performed several test on my eyes over the last year, since this problem occurred. She said the problem may correct itself and that I am still seeing 20/20 with corrective lenses.
Is there anything else I can do to help my eyes adjusted / focus better to see gray and brown on cloudy days or when moving from shade to light areas? I do not experience these problems at night.
I experience on occasion itching, redness, running tears in my right eye and less in my left eye and some pain in my eyes, which my doctor attributes to dry eyes. She suggested the over the counter eye drops, as needed. Do you have any suggestions for this conditions?
