Brief Answer:
It may be the cause...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Minor blood vessel rupture can present with little or no symptoms. I would suggest that you go ahead with
MRI scan of brain as your doctor suspects it after detailed physical examination. It may cause
numbness and tingles over some parts of the body. Itching may or may not be related. I would urge for a
dermatologist opinion if you have rashes with itching.
Treatment for bleeding in the brain depends on the cause, location, and extent of the hemorrhage. Mild bleeds don't need medical intervention. Moderate ones will need
corticosteroids, or diuretics to reduce swelling in brain, and anticonvulsants to prevent seizures. Larger ones will need surgical intervention.
At this moment, don't be worried. Go ahead with MRI scan. Rupture blood vessel is just a suspicion and diagnosis yet.
