What Causes Twitching In My Right Thumb?

Question: I am 64 and in good health, but am hypochondriacal. About a week ago I noticed infrequent twitching in my right thumb. Never had before, but it has occurred about 4 or 5 times over the last week. Doesn't last long - anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. No weakness or stiffness at all, just a little thumb twitch that you can feel and see.
Do I need to be concerned about ALS?

In my opinion your symptoms aren't related with ALS
It is probably an anxiety disorder
You should avoid caffein and energy drinks
Avoid chocolate and use oftenly chamomile tea
You don't have reason too worry to worry at all
