Brief Answer:
Nerve irritated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Lower lip twitching occurs mainly due to injury, irritation of the nerves that supply to the muscle fibers of the lip.

Causes include fatigue, increased caffeine consumption, stress, emotions, or deficient potassium intake.

In most cases it is not a serious problem, if it continues, you should get evaluated by your primary care Doctor. I would suggest a few blood tests to rule out nutritional deficiencies.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

Brief Answer:
Electrolytes should be measured.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

I think electrolytes especially potassium levels should be tested together with vitamin B6 and B12.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
