What Causes Twitching In The Upper Eyelid?

I am a 29 yr old male, my right upper eyelid has been twitching for last 2 weeks and abit. It is triggered by touching it or rubbing it and after blinking tightly. It also came in left bottom lid but that went away and now i can very lightly feel it in the left upper lid. My mind has been on it and is very annoying. The right eye lid is worse and dont know what to do. I am very worried it might be a nerve disorder like essential benign blepharospasm. Can you help me!! Why is this happening only when i touch the eye or right after i blink. It comes and goes all day twitches for a few seconds at a time.
You need to get this out of your head!

Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully. There is certainly no ongoing disease process or a disease at this time. Your heightened concerns and conscious awareness of this twitching has only made it worse. I am sure if you could go a day without thinking about this, you will not have the twitching. Because you keep thinking consciously about it, it gets to somewhat make you realize or prove the twitches that would not be existing normally.
My advise is to ignore this constant urge to think about and refrain from all movements that tend to provoke it. This will take a natural downward spiral and disappear without need for any medical intervention.
I hope this lessens your fears and allows you to ignore and let this disappear completely. I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.

Have you been diagnosed of benign essential blepharospasm?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Have you been officially diagnosed of benign essential blepharospasm or you simply think you have it? Your symptoms are not suggestive of benign essential blepharospasm because of the isolated symptoms and the ability to influence the onset by conscious efforts.
Let me know what the response to this is.

Please, lessen your heightened concerns about this!

Hi,
I suggest that you relax over this. At this rate, you might even push doctors in tagging you with disease conditions that you clearly don’t have. Calm down and update me on your progress.
Thanks and waiting!
