What Causes Ulcers On Vagina And Buttocks?
Question: Out of the blue I got uclers on top of my vagina only two, and a cluster around my bum cheeks. I'm worried it's herpes. I've had painful urinataing and some discharge. Iv also found a lump on top of my vagina above my clit it's not noticeable to the eye until you touch it, it's sore and pea size. Previously few days before these uclers I was I'll with vomiting and diarrhoea. Could these be linked I'm really worried. Not sure how iv caught herpes as my partner doesn't have it

With your history and symptoms in my opinion also it may be due to herpes virus infection.( but other possibility also keep in your mind)
There are two type of virus. Your problem is due to herpes simplex type -2 virus.
Yes! vomiting and dirrhoea may be associated with herpes virus infection.
With herpes virus infection type -2, it is mainly transmitted through sexual contact but in your case as you said your husband is not infected( is he already investigated or not?)
You may get infection from other person who is suffering from herpes virus through touch or skin to skin contact also.
Now you need confirmation of the disease, so please consult a STD specialist and get your examination like PCR, culture, and detection of antibodies in the blood done.
Treatment of the disease in your case is antiviral drugs and ointment for local application.
If lesions are painful then take tricyclics antidepressant drug.
Please get your husband investigation done to rule out the infection.
Always use condom during sexual intercouse.

Thanks very much but still not sure as why i have pea sized lump above my clit its not noticeabke untill you examine it. Its painful and tender to touch. Also im a lesbian so my sexual partner is female. And she has no symptoms like i do although she has the occasional outbreak of cold sores on her lip could she infected me that way ? Ive never had cold sore in my life.
